ISLAM'S MYTH: ALLAH AS LORD OF SIRIUS!

ONE OF ISLAM'S MYTH:

THE STAR SIRIUS

The star Sirius appears in Surat an-Najm (meaning “star”). The double stars that comprise Sirius approach each other with their axes in a bow-shape once every 49.9 years. This astronomical phenomenon is indicated in the verses Surat an-Najm 9 and 49.

When certain concepts mentioned in the Qur'an are studied in the light of 21st century scientific discoveries we find ourselves imparted with yet more miracles of the Qur'an. One of these is the star Sirius, mentioned in Surat an-Najm 49:
… it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. (Qur'an, 53: 49)
The fact that the Arabic word "shiaara," the equivalent of the star Sirius, appears only in Surat an-Najm, meaning only "star," 49 is particularly striking. Because, considering the irregularity in the movement of Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, as their starting point, scientists discovered that it was actually a double star. Sirius is actually a set of two stars, known as Sirius A and Sirius B. The larger of these is Sirius A, which is also the closer to the Earth and the brightest star that can be seen with the naked eye. Sirius B, however, cannot be seen without a telescope.
The Sirius double stars orbit in ellipses about one another. The orbital period of Sirius A & B about their common centre of gravity is 49.9 years. This scientific data is today accepted with one accord by the departments of astronomy at Harvard, Ottawa and Leicester Universities.51This information is reported as follows in various sources:
Sirius, the brightest star, is actually a twin star … Its orbit lasts 49.9 years. (Exposes Astronomiques, La troisième loi de KEPLER, http://www.astrosurf.com/eratosthene/HTML/exposetheoastro.htm)As is known, the stars Sirius-A and Sirius-B orbit each other in a double bow every 49.9 years. (http://www.dharma.com.tr/dkm/article.php?sid=87)The point requiring attention here is the double, bow-shaped orbit of the two stars around one another.
However, this scientific fact, the accuracy of which was only realised in the late 20thcentury, was miraculously indicated in the Qur'an 1,400 years ago. When verses 49 and 9 of Surat an-Najm are read together, this miracle becomes apparent:
… it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius, (Qur'an, 53: 49)
He was two bow-lengths away or even closer. (Qur'an, 53:9)

The description in Surat an-Najm 9 may also describe how these two stars approach one another in their orbits. (Allah knows best.) This scientific fact, that nobody could have known at the time of the revelation of the Qur'an, once again proves that the Qur'an is the Word of Almighty Allah.
BY THIS ARTICLE, THEY ADMITTED THAT THE WORD SIRIUS WAS ADDED AS REPLACEMENT FOR STAR WHICH IS APPROPRIATELY THE MEANING OF THE ARABIC WORD USED, shiaara!

it should have been, Lord of the star (singular).
53:1By the Star when it goes down,-
Waalnnajmi itha hawa

53:2Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled.
Ma dalla sahibukum wamaghawa

53:3Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire.
Wama yantiqu AAani alhawa

53:4It is no less than inspiration sent down to him:
In huwa illa wahyun yooha

53:5He was taught by one Mighty in Power,
AAallamahu shadeedu alquwa

53:6Endued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form);
Thoo mirratin faistawa

53:7While he was in the highest part of the horizon:
Wahuwa bial-ofuqi al-aAAla

53:8Then he approached and came closer,
Thumma dana fatadalla

53:9And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer;
Fakana qaba qawsayni aw adna

53:10So did (Allah) convey the inspiration to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey.

Faawha ila AAabdihi maawha
53:11The (Prophet's) (mind and) heart in no way falsified that which he saw.
Ma kathaba alfu-adu maraa

53:12Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he saw?

53:13For indeed he saw him at a second descent,
Walaqad raahu nazlatan okhra

53:14Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass:
AAinda sidrati almuntaha

53:15Near it is the Garden of Abode.
AAindaha jannatu alma/wa

53:49That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star);
Waannahu huwa rabbu alshshiAAra
OBVIOUSLY THAT ENTITY SEEN BY MUHAMMAD WAS A MESSENGER FROM THE LORD OF THE MIGHTY STAR, ANGEL GABRIEL.

note: sirius is not in the definition as muslims claimed as they say

قَابَ = “qaba”

“qaba” definition:

Noun. The portion, of a bow, that is between the part that is grasped by the hand and the curved extremity: it is the space between the string and the part that is grasped by the hand, of the bow; small distance; short span; space between the middle and the end of a bow; portion of a bow that is between the part which is grasped by the hand and the curved extremity; space from one extremity of the bow to the other; measure or space. The mention of a single “qaba”, for two bows, indicates a very close union between two persons. As pertaining to 53.9…an inverted phrase meaning: and he was at the distance of the measure of the two portions between the part that is grasped by the hand and each of the curved extremities of the bow. It comes from the root “qaba”, which means he dug, or made a hollow in the ground: or he dug a round hollow in the ground; to dig a hole like an egg, draw ear, fly away. His skin became pitted, or marked with small hollows. He was, or became, near; drew near; or approached: and he fled – thus, it has two contrasting significations.

قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ = at the distance of the measure of two Arabian bows; one chord to two bows

أَدْنَى = “adna”

“adna” definition:

Elative. Nearest; worse; lower; best; more fit; more proper; more likely; more probable; nearer; near; less; fewer. It comes from the root “dana”, which means he, or it, was, or became, near; drew near, or approached; it is either in person, or substance, or in respect of a predicament, and in place, and in time; to be near, come near or low, let down, be akin to.

As applied to 53.9…and he was at a distance of two Arabian bows: or two cubits; at the distance of the measure of, the two portions between the part of the bow that is grasped by the hand and each of the curved extremities. It comes from the root “qasa”, which means to compare by measurement proceed anyone, measure anything, imitate anyone. He measured the thing by another thing like it (both in the proper sense and mentally)

qawsayni: he was at a distance of two Arabian bows: or two cubits

Arabian bows or two cubits speaks not of qawsayni as an indication of sirius. why not?
firstly, the verses say that when Gabriel was at two-bow length, he was visible to Muhammad.
53:6
Endued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form);
Sirius distance from the earth cannot be seen by the naked eye, but if Gabriel has brilliance like sirius then the verse may perhaps be true BUT DOES HE HAVE A VOICE LOUD TO REACH EARTH?
53:9
And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer;
53:10
So did (Allah) REVEALED (fa'awha) the REVELATION (awha) to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey.
53:11
The (Prophet's) (mind and) heart in no way falsified that which he saw.
WHEN GABRIEL WAS AT TWO-BOWS LENGTH
DISTANCE MUHAMMAD SAW HIM.
THUS AS QAWSAYNI WAS DEFINED, INDEED, TWO BOWS LENGTH is TWO CUBITS NEAR AS THE DEFINITION IMPLIES.
قَوْسَيْنِ = “qawsayni”

“qawsayni” definition:

Dual noun. Two bows. As applied to 53.9…and he was at a distance of two Arabian bows: or two cubits

two bow-lenGth as two cubits!

GABRIEL WHEN HE GAVE THE REVELATION WAS TWO CUBITS NEAR, A SMALL DISTANCE IN ORDER TO SEE HIM AND NOT AS MUSLIM SCHOLARS HAVE TWISTED TO APPEAR SCIENTIFIC. THE VERSES ITSELF DISPROVES THESE MAD DOCTORS!
53:6
Endued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form);

And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer;
So did (Allah) REVEALED (fa'awha) the REVELATION (awha) to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey.

CLEARLY, WHEN GABRIEL WAS AT A DISTANCE OF TWO-BOW LENGTH, HE WAS GIVING MUHAMMAD A REVELATION REFUTING THE LIE, THAT HE WAS AT THE PREMISES OF THE SIRIUS TWIN STARS. CAN MUHAMMAD RECEIVE A REVELATION AT THAT VERY FAR DISTANCE? DOES GABRIEL HAVE A VOICE LOUD ENOUGH TO REACH EARTH?

ISLAM'S MYTH: THE BIG BANG

THEY SAY

Do not these disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were an integrated mass, which We then split, and from water We made all living things? Will they not believe even then? [21:30]

We deduce from the contents of this verse that it admonishes the unbelievers for ignoring the apparent miracles. The atheists’ basic contention is that matter has no beginning and that it is the matter that has generated everything, both living and inanimate things, by fortuitous act.

The Big Bang theory refutes the basic assertion of atheism in positing that the universe and time had a beginning. “Do not these disbelievers see that…?” is significant. And as it is implied by this verse, the fact that the heavens and the earth were in a state of unity before they were rent asunder was something indeed conceivable by the human mind. The 1900s were the years during which scientific discoveries succeeded each other. Those were the years in which some people tried to point out the contradiction between science and religion. It was presumptuous of them as their whims had been indulged by the prosperity generated by the industrial revolution to idolize matter, daring to substitute it for God. The fact that matter was created – that it had had beginning – as proven by the Big Bang theory, was a blow for unbelievers. The concluding sentence of the verse “Will they not believe even then?” is significant in that history confirmed the truth of this and the unbelievers remained adamant despite evidence produced.

Nevertheless, the arguments of this verse refute the unbelievers’ thesis of eternal matter and compel them to believe. This truth that was to be taken for a fact 1300 years after the revelation of the Quran was another warning for unbelievers. In history, there has been no one, other than the God through Quran, who claimed that the universe had been expanding and that the heavens and the earth had been split asunder. Ancient Greece, the Middle Ages, the Modern Age, Plato, Thales – all those who had attempted to explain natural phenomena in natural terms – Ptolemy, Copernicus, Kepler and Kant, none of humanity’s great minds, had had an inkling of an expanding universe and of the fact that before creation the heavens and the earth had been an indivisible whole. Without the sophisticated equipment of the twentieth century at their disposal, and devoid of all accumulated scientific data, all of these celebrated philosophers and physicists had failed to take cognizance of this fact. The Creator of the universe communicated such important facts about His creation in His book and shed light on the celestial bodies, also proving thereby that the Quran had been His revelation. God unfolded to man the evidences of His creation, the creation that had originated from a single point in which man stood as another point. It is significant to note that while pointing at the comprehensibility of this revelation in the verse,
“Do
not these disbelievers see…?” He

prefigures the stubbornness of unbelievers:

“Will they not believe even then?”

BELIEVE WHAT?

THE BIG BANG THEORY!

BELIEVE A THEORY?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory

In modern science, the term "theory" refers to scientific theories, a well-confirmed type of explanation of nature, made in a way consistent with scientific method, and fulfilling the criteria required by modern science. Such theories are described in such a way that any scientist in the field is in a position to understand and either provide empirical support ("verify") or empirically contradict ("falsify") it.

THUS A THEORY IS NOT AN ESTABLISHED TRUTH

The Big Bang theory is the prevailing cosmological model that describes the early development of the Universe.[1] According to the Big Bang theory, the Universe was once in an extremely hot and dense state which expanded rapidly. This rapid expansion caused the Universe to cool and resulted in its present continuously expanding state. According to the most recent measurements and observations, the Big Bang occurred approximately 13.75 billion years ago,[2][3] which is thus considered the age of the Universe.[4][5] After its initial expansion from a singularity[citation needed], the Universe cooled sufficiently to allow energy to be converted into various subatomic particles, including protonsneutrons, and electrons. While protons and neutrons combined to form the first atomic nuclei only a few minutes after the Big Bang, it would take thousands of years for electrons to combine with them and create electrically neutral atoms. The first element produced was hydrogen, along with traces of helium and lithium. Giant clouds of these primordial elements would coalesce through gravity to form stars and galaxies, and the heavier elements would be synthesized either within stars or during supernovae.
The Big Bang is a well-tested scientific theory and is widely accepted within the scientific community. It offers a comprehensive explanation for a broad range of observed phenomena, including the abundance of light elements, the cosmic microwave backgroundlarge scale structure, and the Hubble diagram for Type Ia supernovae.[6]
HOW WAS BIG BANG THEORIZED?
The core ideas of the Big Bang—the expansion, the early hot state, the formation of helium, and the formation of galaxies—are derived from these and other observations that are independent of any cosmological model. As the distance between galaxy clusters is increasing today, it can be inferred that everything was closer together in the past. This idea has been considered in detail back in time to extreme densities andtemperatures,[7][8][9] and large particle accelerators have been built to experiment in such conditions, resulting in further development of the model. On the other hand, these accelerators have limited capabilities to probe into such high energy regimes. There is little evidence regarding the absolute earliest instant of the expansion. Thus, the Big Bang theory cannot and does not provide any explanation for such an initial condition; rather, it describes and explains the general evolution of the universe going forward from that point on.

INDEED NOBODY KNOWS IF IN FACT EVERYTHING CAME FROM A SINGLE MASS

IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE AN ACCEPTED TRUTH, IT MUST BE A SCIENTIFIC FACT
SCIENCE a branch of study dedicated to the accumulation and classification of
observable facts in order to formulate general laws about the natural world.
(Exploring Creation With Natural ScieSTnce PG 1)

IN FACT THERE IS NO OBSERVABLE FACT THAT THE UNIVERSE CAME FROM ONE SINGLE MASS SO AS QURAN TRIED TO IMPLY!
IF SO, CAN THEY SHOW THE EXACT CENTRAL POINT WHERE THE UNIVERSE BLASTED OFF FROM, WHAT PROOF OF IT AS A SINGLE MASS?

There is little evidence regarding the absolute earliest instant of the expansion. Thus, the Big Bang theory cannot and does not provide any explanation for such an initial condition; rather, it describes and explains the general evolution of the universe going forward from that point on.

Do not these disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were an integrated mass, which We then split, and from water We made all living things? Will they not believe even then? [21:30]

A THEORY IS JUST A GUESS, IT CAN BE TRUE OR NOT UNTIL IT IS EVIDENTLY TRUTH, IT MUST NOT BE BELIEVED!

"We will soon show them Our signs in the horizons and in themselves until it is evident to them that it is the Truth. And does it not suffice as to your Lord that He is The Ever-Present Witness over everything?" Surat Fussilat (Expounded) verse no.53

NOW THAT IT IS NOT YET FACTUAL, DO MUSLIMS BELIEVE IT?

Sahih International
Say, "Have you considered: if the Qur'an is from Allah and you disbelieved in it, who would be more astray than one who is in extreme dissension?"41:52
THUS QURAN BEING AN AUTHORITY OF MUSLIM FAITH, THEY MUST NOT BELIEVE WHAT IS A THEORY (such as big bang) BEC IT IS YET OF CONJECTURES OR DOUBT.

`Most of them follow nothing except
conjecture, and conjecture can certainly
not take the place of truth. Surely, Allah
is fully aware of what they do" . (SurahYunus, 10:36).

 AS ALLAH HIMSELF SAID, TRUTH MUST BE PROVEN
2:111And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful."

THUS ALL THINGS SUCH AS BIG BANG THEORY MUST BE PROVEN FIRST BEFORE ANY MUSLIM MUST BELIEVE IT!

conjecture can certainly

not take the place of truth.10:36
